Sign Language Media Night: Children of a Lesser God (Film: 2hrs)

The screening is about a speech teacher who is new at the New England School for the Deaf and meets a Deaf janitor. He believes she should learn to lipread and speak but she refuses. However, they both fall in love and embark on a journey with feelings of anger, frustration and communication barriers. It’s a love story between two.
