Why Donate

“Helping out hospitality schools is just smart business … It’s an investment in their own businesses, helping to educate the people who may work for them one day.”
Alistair Kyte, Food Service and Hospitality, November 2008

When you give to the George Brown Yes Chef! Campaign, you ensure the long-term success of your own business and Canada’s hospitality industry and help students fulfill their dreams of a future in this field.

Our Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts is plugged into this industry. Many of our faculty still work in the field, and we collaborate with numerous industry partners to keep our programs current and offer special events that stretch our students and benefit our industry partners.

In its 40-year history, George Brown’s Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts has produced more than 10,000 talented graduates. Enrollment in full-time programs has increased by 80% in the past five years alone. Even with our recent expansion, the number of applicants continues to outpace available space.

Your contribution to the Yes Chef! Campaign will enable George Brown Chef School to put the finishing touches on our renovations and prepare greater numbers of high-quality, in-demand graduates.

We invite you to step up to the plate and give generously.
