Chef, cookbook author, restaurateur, and recipient of the Ontario Hostelry Institute’s Chairman’s Gold Award for Industry Lifetime Achievement in 2009, Donna Dooher is one of North America’s leading culinary advocates. Passionate about food and its creation, Donna has spent over 25 years pursuing its perfection. She has been creating memorable experiences at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, Mildred Pierce and Avant Gout Catering and ran Cookworks Cooking School for more than 10 years.

Michael Beckley is Senior Vice President, Lodging Development for Marriott Hotels and Resorts Canada, and Ritz Carlton Hotels and Resorts. He has over 40 years of distinguished service in the hotel industry in the United Kingdom, mainland Europe, Bermuda, and Barbados, and came to Canada in 1981. Among other prestigious awards, Michael received Hotelier Magazine’s Hotelier of the Year and the Ontario Hostelry Institute’s Chairman’s Award for Achievement in 1994 and the Ontario Hostelry Institute’s Chairman’s Gold Award for Industry Lifetime Achievement in 2009. Educated in London, England, Michael graduated from the acclaimed Westminster Hotel School and completed five more years of management training in the UK, France, and Germany.
