LEAH CHERNIAK DIRECTS
THE PAPER BAG PRINCESS

George Brown Theatre marks its 18th annual children's show with the stories of Canada's own Robert Munsch. Under the direction of Leah Cherniak, George Brown Theatre's second year students bring to life the characters from Angela's Airplane, Millicent and the Wind, Mud Puddle, Love You Forever, Murmel Murmel Murmel and The Paper Bag Princess.

This production provides our actors-in-training with the invaluable experience of performing for young people while introducing hundreds of Metro students to live theatre. Weekday school shows have already sold out and tickets for the two public shows December 4th & 11th go on sale November 4th. The one-hour performance is suitable for children 3 years of age and up.

The stories have been adapted for the stage by Irene Watts and Leah Cherniak. The creative team also includes: Victoria Wallace (set and costumes); Mickey Wagg (lighting); Robert McCollum (choreography) and John Rigzin Tute (music).
