PRINCE AMPONSAH
Born in Italy of Ghanaian background and raised in Canada, Prince wanted to choose a path in life that was as diverse as his
upbringing; an upbringing that fostered a love of art and culture. That led him to George Brown Theatre School. Prince has
been given the opportunity to explore and further develop his skills and feels ready to take it to the next level as a professional
actor in the Canadian entertainment industry. A few of his current credits at GBTS include: Firk in The Shoemaker’s
Holiday, Hisham in Territories, and most recently the Sergeant in The Madwoman of Chaillot.

ZACH APOSTOLERIS
Zach, originally from Nova Scotia, began his career on the East Coast before coming to train at George Brown. Some of his favourite productions include: Don’t Dress for Dinner, Oliver at Festival Antigonish, Wrecked, Two Weeks Twice a Year, Lig and Bittle at Theatre New Brunswick; The Merchant of Venice, Pericles: Prince of Tyre, Much Ado About Nothing, Robin Hood and The Wizard of Uh-Oz at Shakespeare by the Sea; and The Madwoman of Chaillot at George Brown Theatre School. Zach is excited to continue his career in Toronto. |

RYAN BONDY
Ryan grew up in Kitchener, Ontario and has always had a passion for the performing arts. Ryan was a part of the Charlottetown Festival’s Young Company in the summer of 2006 where he was able to sharpen his acting, singing as well as dancing abilities. He most recently performed as Pierre in The Madwoman of Chaillot and will be appearing as Mirabell in The Way of the World in February. Ryan’s other passions include playing the guitar and song-writing. He hopes to take the training from George Brown and explore all of the opportunities in the performing arts world. |
LINDSAY FRANCISCO
Lindsay is proud to be a graduate of George Brown Theatre School, especially with such a talented group of actors. She grew up in various locations in Southwestern Ontario (Granton, Listowel, Parkhill, Courtland) but eventually settled in Tillsonburg, Ontario, the town with its own Stompin’ Tom Connors song. Her previous education includes a year of Queen’s Honours Theatre Program, as well as second-year English Studies at Western. She is fascinated by classical texts, and hopes to further her studies in them. |

CAITLIN HUTT
Growing up in a town of 350 people in Northern Ontario, Caitlin was lucky enough to have been introduced to live theatre as a youngster. But after years of being an audience member, she aspired to tread the boards herself. Desperate to escape her hometown, she sought refuge at George Brown Theatre School for training and experience. Favourite journeys taken include: Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire; Diaphanta in The Changeling; Evadne in The Maid’s Tragedy; Sara in Territories; The Prospector in The Madwoman of Chaillot. |
KATE KUDELKA
Kate Kudelka grew up just outside Stratford, which may account for her professional choice to pursue theatre rather than follow in her father’s footsteps and shear sheep. Prior to her theatre training, she received a degree in Classical Voice Performance from the University of Western Ontario. Favourite roles include Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Kate in Kiss Me, Kate, Mother Herring in Albert Herring, and Angela in Blow Hard. Kate is looking forward to her upcoming role as Lady Wishfort in The Way of the World, which her class will be presenting in February. |

HANNAH MILLER
Hannah grew up in a small town in central Israel. She found her way to Canada after two years of mandatory military service, where she toured the country, entertaining her fellow soldiers. Being an international student at George Brown has given her an incredible, new perspective on theatre as well as life. |
KAITLIN MORROW
Hi, my name is Kaitlin Morrow. I come from Nova Scotia’s beautiful Annapolis valley where I grew up with the arts of puppetry, music and dance. I’ve had many unique experiences with the stage, including traveling internationally with a children’s theatre company, volunteering at Playwrights’ Workshop in Montreal and performing in numerous independent shows across Nova Scotia. When I discovered my passion for acting, I came to Toronto to learn all that I could on the subject. I hope to continue to explore the performing arts and am looking forward to becoming a part of Canadian theatre. |

SEANN MURRAY
Seann was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where he earned a B.A. in psychology from St. Thomas University. Alongside his studies, Seann was active in the University of New Brunswick’s theatre program, and after three years on the Fringe circuit and two years with the NotaBleActs theatre festival, he decided that the stage held a great deal more appeal than grad school. He hasn’t looked back since. Seann is both proud and excited to be stepping into the world of Canadian theatre. |
BRETT HAYNES
Brett is ecstatic to be graduating in April, ending his seven year sprint through higher education. Starting off at the University of Waterloo, Brett studied acting as well as apprenticed as a Set Designer and Scenic Painter. After spending a year living in Paris, France, Brett found himself again in school, studying the classics. Brett hopes to continue to work on old and new plays as well as help other artists create their own works through his newly established company. |

ALEX PAXTON-BEESLEY
Born and raised in Toronto, Alex hails from a family of artists who always encouraged impracticality and passion. Somehow, she spent her first year out of high school doing the opposite and beginning a B.A. in History and English at the University of Toronto. Before long, however, it was apparent that the acting bug had no patience for practicality. Four months after completing her first year, Alex was at George Brown writing fewer papers and doing more spine rolls; and she hasn’t looked back. Favourite roles include: The Madwoman of Chaillot, Hodge (The Shoemaker’s Holiday) and Lexington (The Maid’s Tragedy). |
LAURA SCHUTT
Laura has had a flair for the dramatic since birth. She found her way to theatre in grade school and (a fleeting interest in neurosurgery aside) has been pursing acting ever since. Favourite roles at George Brown include: Beatrice in The Changeling and Mistress Galipot in The Roaring Girl. Laura was also very proud to originate the role of Eloise in Beverley Cooper’s The Eyes of Heaven at the Blyth Festival this past summer. She would like to thank her family for being the best in the world, and for all their unending support. |

LESLEY SMITH
Lesley was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She had the great fortune to be introduced to the theatre early on, attending Neptune Theatre School since the age of 6. From her first role as the Fuzzy Caterpillar to her time with Neptune’s Youth Performance Company, Lesley knew this was the world for her. After a brief foray into TV and film, Lesley decided to further her training and moved to Toronto. Favourite roles at GBTS include: Willie in Tennessee Williams’ This Property is Condemned, Puss in Greg MacArthur’s girls!girls!girls! and most recently Irma in Jean Giraudoux’s Madwoman of Chaillot. |
JAN-MICHAEL WEIR
Jan worked in a trauma ward for two years as an ER Technician, which was only slightly less dramatic than his time as a barista. Select theatre previous to George Brown: Jan acted with Resurgence Theatre, The Centre for Indigenous Theatre, Cliffhanger Productions and the last two summers performing with Gairbraid Theatre in Goderich. Jan’s third year has gotten off to a killer start playing Johnny Pateen Mike in The Cripple of Innishman and The President in The Madwoman of Chaillot. He is very excited to play Fainall in The Way of the World and very excited for the rest of our season. Love and thanks to my family! |

DARCIE YOUNG
Darcie Young has been involved with theatre for most of her life. She attended Canterbury Arts High School for theatre, performed in the Ottawa Fringe production of The Audience and, attended York University’s theatre program where she performed in the Violence Against Women “V-Day” performance of The Vagina Monologues. After a year at York she took time off but continued taking classes with The Ottawa School of Speech & Drama, appearing in Equity Rules. At George Brown she’s had the opportunity to work with several guest directors including Gina Wilkinson (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Night of the Iguana), Greg Spottiswood (The Attic, The Pearls and Three Fine Girls/ Shockers’ Delight), Jason Byrne (The Madwoman of Chaillot). She will next be seen in The Way of the World, directed by Diana Leblanc in February. Darcie is very excited to be involved with Theatre Ontario and is interested in what the New Year will bring. |
