DEREK ARNOLD
Derek was born and raised in Hamilton and introduced
to acting in high school where he gained an appreciation
for the art and instantly knew where he was headed.
After graduating and taking a year off, he found
himself at George Brown to pursue his ambition
and now looks forward to taking the next step.
Favorite roles at George Brown include: Boy in
the Drawer in Much Ado About Munsch, Renault in
Venice
Preserved and recently Napoleon/Count Rostov in War
and Peace.

ROGER BAINBRIDGE
Roger was born and raised in Ottawa. He began performing
at an early age and soon discovered a knack for
improvisation. After helping his team achieve national
status at the Canadian Improv Games, Roger took
to the professional clubs trying his hand at various
kinds of sketch and improv comedy. An incessant
itch
to "go legitimate" led him to seek training
at George Brown, which has proved a truly life-enriching
experience. He looks forward to the shaping of
new works and the chance to try his hand at some
old.

SHANDA BEZIC
Shanda was confident she was going to be a part of
Theatre from a very young age. After doing productions
throughout high school and taking classes with
the Actor's Workshop, she managed a condominium
sales for a year, saving every penny so that she
could leap into training that would help her realize
her goal. The three years she has spent at George
Brown
have been life changing. Her favorite roles include:
Sonya in Uncle Vanya; Lorrie in Featuring
Loretta; Lily in Skriker; and Imogen in Cymbeline.
Shanda would like to say thank you
to the faculty and her peers for teaching her more
then
she thought she could learn. |
WADE BOGERT-O'BRIEN
Wade was born on an island but grew up in Edmonton
and later Ottawa. In Ottawa, he attended Canterbury
High School where his favorite roles included Kent
in Madison's Avenue, and Michael Fitzpatrick in
Picnic at Hanging Rock. At George Brown he has
enjoyed playing Baron Tuzenbach-Krone Altschauer
in The
Three Sisters, Lord Foppington in The
Relapse, Alan in Therac
25 and most recently Prince Nicolai
Rostov in War and Peace. In his spare time, Wade
enjoys baking apple pies and playing the electric
ukulele.

REBECCA DAVEY
While she loves Toronto, Rebecca has been fortunate
enough to travel: she volunteered in a prison orphanage
in Bolivia, played piano for a youth choir through
Budapest, Vienna and Berlin and helped build a
school in West Africa. Rebecca is University of
Toronto graduate, with a double Specialist in Drama
and French Literature. Between UofT and George
Brown, she taught grade 4-5 French and private
piano, participated in community theatre (Ann in
Arthur Miller's All My Sons) and a two-hander at
Summerworks and did one major US commercial. Favourite
credits at George Brown include: Lady Wishfort
in The Way of the World, Sonya in Ivanov and Moira
in Much Ado About Munsch.

NOA MAY DORN
A Toronto-bred francophone with tentacles reaching
out to Paris and Buenos Aires, Noa May hopes to
work as an artist without borders. Cocooned in
the supportive womb of the George Brown Theatre
School, surrounded by inspiring colleagues and
deeply invested teachers/mentors, she feels ready
to apply her new technical skills to whatever projects
may lie ahead. Craft-altering roles at GBTS include;
Nina in Chekhov's The Seagull, Pony in Thompson's
White Biting Dog, Cleopatra in Dryden's All
for Love, and Skriker in Churchill's The Skriker.

ROBIN ELEY
Being a Toronto girl at heart, Robin is delighted
to be graduating in her hometown amongst such a
supportive group of colleagues, staff, family and
friends. Theatre has always been a great passion
of Robin's but it was not until half way through
her second year at Concordia University that she
began to contemplate it as a vocation. Making the
difficult decision to leave Montreal Robin returned
home to Toronto and set her sights on George Brown
Theatre School. The rest is history. Some favourite
credits
include: Margery Pinchwife in The Country Wife,
Charlotte in 15 Seconds, Lily in The Skriker and
most recently, Sonya in War and Peace. |
MARIE ELIZABETH JONES
Marie is from Sangudo, AB (pop. 400), where she exploited
all visible creative outlets until moving to Edmonton
at 16. After 5 years of acting and completing a
BA (Honors) in Drama at UofA, Marie travelled to
Seattle, surviving traffic long enough to perform
with Theater Schmeater, Arts West and Lipschtick.
The sale of her '76 Aspen financed her flight to
Toronto to attend George Brown, where favorite
roles have
included Juliet (R&J), Masha (The Three
Sisters),
Octavia (All for Love), the [American] Skriker
(The Skriker), and Anna Pavlovna (War & Peace).
Thank you to my wonderful class, outstanding teachers,
dear friends & intrepid family for your endless
support. |

RICK JONGEJAN
Raised on a farm in Huron County, Rick has loved
performing in one sense or another for his entire
life. After high school he spent a few years working
a tech support job while waffling between choosing
it as a career or a hobby. However, in the summer
of 2003, he cofounded a semi-professional summer
theatre company, which sealed his fate. Leaving
home, and his last steady paycheque, he applied
and was
accepted into George Brown's Theatre School. Some
of his favorite roles include: Richard III, Ivanov,
Ventidius in All for Love, and recently Prince
Bolkonsky in War and Peace. Rick is grateful for
all the support he has received. |
KRISTA KEHN
Raised among a family of performers (mainly musicians)
in the city of Kitchener-Waterloo. Krista's debut
as Bently the Clown in the production Clowns at
her elementary school was her first taste of theatre.
Itching for more, she began acting and singing
lessons and continued performing in school, local
little theatres and church. After highschool she
decided on George Brown Theatre School for the
classical
training she feels is absolutely essential for wanting
to pursue a career as an actor. Her stand-out memories
at GBC include roles such as Isabella in Measure
for Measure, Yeliena in Uncle Vanya and Lily in
The Skriker. Krista looks forward to begin her
career
in theatre and film. |

LISE MAHER
A native of Oakwood, Ontario, Lise is so thrilled
to be out of the woods and in the big city studying
what she loves most: theatre. Stepping on the stage
at age eight, she knew there was no turning back.
Lise is very excited to be a part of the third
year acting ensemble, a group of extremely talented
individuals who are about to take Canada's theatre
scene by storm! Lise is eagerly awaiting graduation
and a chance to try her hand in the big world of
theatre. Favourite roles at GBC include: Josie
in The Skriker, Elizabeth in Much Ado About
Munsch and Petya in War and Peace. |
MARIE-CLAIRE MARCOTTE

Born and raised in St. John's Newfoundland, Craig left a degree in music to
pursue acting. After working for two years in beautiful Halfax, Nova Scotia,

so decided to move to Toronto to attend George Brown to become a professional
pretender. Favorite
roles have included Richard III (Richard III), Edmund (Much Ado
About Munch),
Charlie

She was introduced to the stage at the precocious
age of ten with the title role of "Charlotte's
Web" and hasn't
stopped since. She has appeared in over 50 community
productions as well as being a founding member
and associate
director of Stage 1, a company that makes theatre
accessible to young people. Megan is eternally
grateful to her instructors at George Brown for
the tough love and support. Favorite GBC credits
