The Grads
Louis Adams LOUIS ADAMS
Before coming to George Brown, Louis earned a B.A. Honours (English and Drama) from the University of Western Ontario. His past stage credits include PORTIA COUGHLAN, MAN AND THE MASSES and THE GRACE OF MARY TRAVERSE for University of Toronto's Graduate Centre; WALLFLOWER for Summerworks; THE LIBERTINE and PARADISE LOST for Equity Showcase; and TWELFTH NIGHT for Soulpepper/Festival of Classics. He recently enjoyed playing the corrupt Judge Lyapkin-Tyapkin in THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR and is looking forward to being in Lorca's YERMA directed by Richard Rose in February.

ALISION DEON
Alison comes from the small but "colourful" arts community of Nelson, British Columbia where she was raised on organic produce, the theatre and love. During her summers she had the opportunity to play such roles as Mary in SALT WATER MOON and The Referee in NEVER SWIM ALONE. Favourite roles at George Brown include Lady Macbeth, Miss Julie, Gretel in TALES FROM THE BROTHERS GRIMM, Evadne in THE MAID'S TRAGEDY and, most recently, the Superintendent's wife in THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR. Alison looks forward to a career in the theatre and hopes to contribute her acting/writing/clowning/musical stylings. She wishes to give a shout out to all her peeps, without whom she never could have done it.
Alision Deon
Kate Gordon KATE GORDON
Born in Ottawa and raised in Vancouver and Toronto, Kate is very proud to be part of the 2005 graduating class. Before entering George Brown, Kate learned an invaluable amount by collaboratively creating and performing FLUSHED in the 2001 Toronto Fringe Festival. Favourite roles at George Brown have included Lady Anne in RICHARD III, Julie in MISS JULIE, Alice in THE CORONATION VOYAGE, Pozzo in WAITING FOR GODOT, and most recently she had the pleasure of playing Anna in THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR. Kate is looking forward to the upcoming season and can't wait to be a part of Canada's growing and diverse theatre scene.
ELI HAM
It all started with Robin Hood on the front porch. Eli started his exploration of acting at the age of 11 as a founding member of Stratford's children's Shakespearean company Playmakers. Other than Playmakers, Eli's favourite credits include: Jerry in THE ZOO STORY, Orsino in TWELFTH NIGHT and Jesus in THE DIVINE ROMANCE. Eli has also had the pleasure to work in film and TV over the last six years including the films PERFECT PIE and GENIUS as well as a guest spot on TV's OUR HERO. Eli is thrilled to be part of George Brown's graduating class of 2005 and would like to dedicate the next three shows to the memory of his late Grandfather.

Falen Johnson FALEN JOHNSON
Prior to coming to George Brown, Falen lived on the Six Nations reserve, where she assisted in the development of many community productions. Named after a character on the popular TV soap DYNASTY, Falen could not fight her fate, she was destined to act. During her time at George Brown, Falen has had the pleasure of playing such roles as Mrs. X in THE STRONGER, The Evil Stepmother in TALES FROM THE BROTHERS GRIMM, Livia in WOMEN BEWARE WOMEN, Philomena in THE REZ SISTERS, Woman One in PLAY and Mishka in THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR. Falen is delighted to be graduating in the class of 2005.
PAUL KIT
After playing Valentine Coverly in Stoppard's ARCADIA and Claude in Tremblay's THE REAL WORLD? with Durham Shoestring Performers in Oshawa, Paul backpacked his way through Europe and wound up in Vancouver on the set of HAWKEYE and enrolled in Vancouver Film School. But Toronto's thriving theatre community drew Paul back east to continue his training at George Brown. Highlighted roles include: The Captain (THE FATHER); Sir. Walter Whorehound (A CHASTE MAID IN CHEAPSIDE); Bug (HIGH LIFE), Etienne (THE CORONATION VOYAGE), Hamm (ENDGAME) and most recently the School Superintendent (THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR). Last summer, Paul was seen onstage in Canopy Theatre's production of THE MERCHANT OF VENICE.

Lindsay McMahon LINDSAY McMAHON
Lindsay grew up in the suburbs of Toronto and caught a fever for theatre early in life. She spent her elementary years writing, directing and acting in plays for her school, so it was obvious what path she was bound to go down. Some of her favourite roles here at George Brown include Hamm in ENDGAME, Blanche in SKY, Beatrice in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, Mistress Littlewit in BARTHOLOMEW FAIR, and most recently Peter Ivanovich Dobchinsky in THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR. Lindsay thanks her parents for their endless love and support, bold sense of humour, and regular tuition payments.
KRYSTAL MEADOWS
Krystal grew up on a hundred acre farm in rural Stratford. She joined a local theatre group, Playmakers, and found a passion for acting as Guinevere in THE WHITE PHANTOM and Bianca in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW. Krystal is also a graduate of Vancouver Film School's Acting for Film and Television program. While at VFS she discovered her love for independent film making and animation voice over. At George Brown, Krystal has played the Postmaster in THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR, a Maiden turned into a Princess in TALES FROM THE BROTHERS GRIMM and she is looking forward to her next role in YERMA. Thank you to the faculty and my fabulous, supportive, creative, inspirational class for the amazing ride!

Anda Pleniceanu ANDA PLENICEANU
Anda's first step on Canadian land when she emigrated from Romania four years ago, opened her eyes to a world full of fresh colours and opportunity. The second step took her straight to George Brown, where she experienced theatrical peaks and depths never known to her before. She also kept and nurtured her creative élan, which will accompany her to the third step, that of inspiring many people through her dramatic art. Favourite roles played at George Brown are: Eleonora in Strindberg's EASTER, Annie Cook in THE REZ SISTERS, Nell in ENDGAME and Lucky in WAITING FOR GODOT.
LOUISE PLUNKETT
Louise grew up in her hometown of Leeds, England where she discovered her love for acting and singing at the tender age of five (she's much better at it now). Several years ago she left the sunny shores of Britain for Toronto with the naïve excitement of one who has yet to experience a Canadian winter. She stuck around however, and she's glad she did having thoroughly enjoyed every challenge thrown her way at George Brown. Her favourites being the title role in MOO, Ursula in BARTHOLOMEW FAIR, Martha in THE VILE GOVERNESS, Pozzo in WAITING FOR GODOT and most recently Osip in THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR. Louise is looking forward to all that awaits her when she's finally let out into the real world.
Louise Plunkett
Jacquelyn Pijper JACQUELYN PIJPER
Jacquelyn currently resides in Toronto, although she has also called other countries home. She became bilingual at seventeen after spending four months in Paraguay working in an orphanage for abandoned, disabled children, and later lived in Spain. She has always craved the stage. Since the age of eleven she has been involved in drama and theatre classes. At George Brown, Jacquelyn's favourite roles include Maria in The Government Inspector, Marguerite in THE CORONATION VOYAGE, and Simon Eyre in THE SHOEMAKER'S HOLIDAY. She was seen last summer as Regan in SHAKESPEARE FIGHTS at the Hamilton Fringe Festival, and as the title character in LILITH. Jacquelyn cannot wait to be a part of Canada's growing theatre community.
JAYNE WALLING
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Jayne has lived here and there across Canada before making a resting ground in Toronto. She has enjoyed her time at George Brown, and looks forward to contributing to the Canadian Theatre scene. At school, favourite roles include Evadne in A MAID'S TRAGEDY and Lucky in WAITING FOR GODOT. Recently Jayne had the pleasure of working at the Caravan Farm Theatre in B.C.'s Okanagan where she acted, sang and fed pigs.
