Scholarships

The college has currently two scholarships to help students:

Grant for International Study Abroad Programs
Students may apply for a $300-$400 study abroad grant administered by the College’s Student Awards Office. This grant will be allocated to students in financial need, who have participated in fundraising activities and require some modest assistance to meet their goal. Please remember that students requesting these grants must have their tuition fully paid, or grants will be applied against a student’s outstanding balance with the college.

Ontario International Education Opportunity Scholarships (OIEOS)

The Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities provides funding for the Ontario International Education Opportunity Scholarships (OIEOS) for eligible students who participated in an academic study, work term or co-op placement outside of Canada. The value of each scholarship being offered is dependent on the duration of your overseas program:

  • $1,250 for at least 4 weeks, but less than 8 weeks
  • $2,500 for 8 weeks or more

Scholarships will be awarded on a combination of financial need and academic merit, with special consideration given to Aboriginal students, francophone students, and students with disabilities.

The availability of OIEOS each year is dependent on the renewal of government funding.

Scholarships and grants listed above are subject to change without prior notice, and are subject to conditions as may be set down by the college and/or the donor of the award.
