Tips for Searching the George Brown College on-line Staff Directory!
There are several methods you may use to search the staff directory.
- You may use the drop-down menu to search by Department or Faculty.
A search by Department or Faculty only, will return an alphabetical list of all members of that department.
- You may search by Keyword only.
A keyword search will result in an alphabetical list of all records that include that keyword.
At present, a search by name should only include the person's first name or their last name.
Searching by both first and last names will result in "no match".
- You can narrow your search by selecting a Department or Faculty and entering a Keyword.
This will return an alphabetical list of all those records in the selected department which match the keyword entered.
- You may search by not selecting or entering any search criteria.
A search using no criteria will return a full alphabetical list of all records in the staff directory.
When your search is complete, simply click on the name of the person you are searching for and
an individual staff information card will be displayed.
That card will display the person's full name, position or title, department, campus, room number, address, phone number,
voice-mail number (if different from the phone number) and e-mail address. If you wish to send e-mail to the person, simply click on their
e-mail address.
NOTE: If the person does not have an e-mail address at the college, the e-mail prefix (login) will be missing from the
address. Clicking on " @georgebrown.ca"
will result in no message being sent by the mail server.
There will be no listing for voice-mail if the person's voice-mail number is the same as their phone number or if the
person does not have voice mail at the college.
