Second Career Prospective Students

The Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development will grant each student up to a maximum of $28,000 to cover tuition, books, transportation and living expenses for up to two years.  Students are also expected to make a financial contribution towards their training. Please be advised that George Brown College cannot guarantee the Second Career eligibility of programs at the College.  When researching programs, the following MAESD guidelines provide some general eligibility criteria:

  • The program must be no more than two years in length and should lead to a specified career path
  • One year of academic upgrading permitted (if required)
