Co-op Diploma Apprenticeship Program

We are excited that you are interested in taking on one of our C.O.D.A students! The industry experience you offer, coupled with the education these students are getting with us at George Brown College will be an essential combination for their future success!

The Co-op Diploma Apprenticeship Program (C.O.D.A.) is a Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities initiative to promote interest and growth in the trades.  The programs allow students to obtain their college diploma and work towards completing their apprenticeship concurrently.  We have a diverse group of students coming from a wide range of backgrounds and different ages with varying skill levels.  Students spend an introductory semester in class and in lab training before they are placed in co-op for two consecutive semesters.  After a final semester at George Brown they will have completed their in class training and be well on their way to completing their apprenticeship.

How can you get involved?

We are seeking employers who would benefit from ambitious, hard working individuals able to contribute at a modest wage.   Your participation in this program would be greatly appreciated, as you will be shaping the future leaders of our industry.

If you are interested in participating by taking on an Apprenticeship student, please complete the following registration form. A representative from our Apprenticeship Co-Op department will be in contact within 2 business days to review your application.
