Under the direction of Sue Miner, MUCH ADO ABOUT MUNSCH brings to life the characters from some of Munsch's most popular stories: Purple, Green and Yellow; Jonathan Cleaned Up; A Promise is a Promise; The Boy in the Drawer; Moira's Birthday. MUCH ADO ABOUT MUNSCH provides our second year actors-in-training with the invaluable experience of performing for young people while introducing hundreds of Metro students to live theatre. Weekday school shows have already sold out and tickets for the two public shows on December 3rd & 10th go on sale November 3rd. The performance is suitable for children 3 years of age and up. Robert Munsch is one of North America's best-selling children's authors. His books are staples of any child's library. All together they have sold over 30 million copies, and have been translated into over a dozen languages. The stories have been adapted for the stage by director Sue Miner and the cast. Ms Miner is a graduate of The National Theatre School's acting section and has worked both as a freelance director and teacher. She has garnered several Dora nominations, been thrice nominated for the Pauline McGibbon Award for body of work in directing, and touted as one of Toronto's Top-10 theatre artists by NOW Magazine.
