For those who have an interest in media but aren’t certain where to start, our Media Foundation will prepare you to move into our Video Design & Production or the School of Design’s Interaction Design & Development programs.
The new Video Design & Production is a four semester program which moves past traditional broadcast media into the new world of media as it continues to evolve with new technologies. Extra curricular projects will be supported as the program will be a centre piece in which cross-collaboration with the other media programs.
Our brand new four semester Acting for Media program moves past just acting for film and television and comprises training needed to succeed as a screen actor whether for film, television, online, game, or interactive mediums. Students will learn to be adaptive to all media and apply their craft as a professional actor and voice-over artist.
Our three semester postgraduate Screenwriting and Narrative Design program provides students with the training and experience needed to work as a writer in the ever-evolving media field. This program will guide you through the development of compelling content for video games, television, film and interactive media.
Finally, the new Visual Effects three semester program allows students with previous knowledge of modelling or animation to hone their skills in an intensive program with basic tasks as visual clean up of film backgrounds to creating whole new worlds for film, television, and game.
