“Being part of the real world of dance – and not isolated in a training studio – helps our students visualize their future in a professional environment.” Bengt Jorgen, Director and Producer of Ballet Jorgen Canada.
As a dancer, you are no stranger to the studio and the stage. The intensity and level of technical skill you’ll develop in the School of Performing Arts will set the groundwork for a successful dance career. You will have the opportunity to work with professional choreographers who will challenge and motivate you, giving you an edge in the competitive dance industry.
The learning environment of the school isn’t limited to the studio. Every year George Brown students have the unique opportunity to audition for the ensemble of Ballet Jorgen and travel across Canada performing with the company.
