The Jewellery program offers a repair service, ring sizing, retipping, chain repair, bead stringing, reshanking, for a small fee. Contact: 416-4150500, ext. 4463, Casa Loma campus, room C520.


Gemmology
The Gemmology program combines the best features of both the British and American certification programs. Graduates may write the Canadian Gemmological Association (FCGA) exams and the British (FGA) exams to obtain internationally recognized professional designations. This program is unique in the Greater Toronto Area.

Jewellery Students are members of the Metal Arts Guild (www.metalarts.on.ca) through George Brown College.

About Placements
Work placements are a component of several of our fashion programs. They provide an excellent opportunity to obtain first hand experience within the industry, to be part of a vibrant team, and to refine your career objectives.

Students in Jewellery Arts may arrange a work placement through the Independent Studies course in the 4th, 5th, or 6th semesters.
