Program Comparison Help

Decision-making made easy! This tool gives you a breakdown of individual programs offered at George Brown College and how they differ from other programs you’re interested in. Use this tool to select up to 10 programs to compare, helping you make the right choice for the career you want.
Instructions:

1. Under Program Comparison, click Add a New Program

2. Search for one of the programs you’re interested in (either alphabetically, by interest or by job)

3. Click on the title of the program in the menu

4. Click Add to Comparison

5. Continue searching for programs using steps 2-4

6. When you’re done, clicking Program Comparison will give you a preview of the programs and the option to delete, add or clear all

7. Open Program Compare for more details and an easy-to-read comparison of the programs you’ve selected

Supervised and directed by experienced industry professionals, our students are often just weeks away from becoming working professionals themselves. So by enjoying the benefits of the services that we offer to the public at reduced prices, you’ll be participating in the learning process by helping our students learn and prepare for rewarding careers.

Dental, hearing and fitness services

Photo of a health sciences student Wellness, Applied Research and Visionary Education (WAVE) is a group of faculty supervised, student run clinics that provide health and wellness services to the public. Discounted services offered include dental, hearing, fitness, health promotion workshops and assessments. The WAVE Clinic is located at our Waterfront Campus, 51 Dockside Drive:

  • Dental services include dental history, assessment of teeth and gums, dental x-rays and teeth cleaning, fabrication of complete or partial dentures, repairs and relining, fillings, veneers, and bonding;
  • Hearing services include hearing tests, hearing aid evaluation and recommendation, consultation for assistive listening devices and hearing conservation;
  • Fitness Assessment and exercise prescription.

School of Makeup and Esthetics Services

Photo of a makeup and esthetics studentGeorge Brown College’s School of Makeup and Esthetics provides a wide variety of discounted services in our spa, including facial and body treatments, waxing, manicures, pedicures, makeup application, medical esthetics and IPL hair removal.

Services are offered by students under the guidance of experienced instructors. Our spa store carries a variety of high-end, top-quality professional makeup, skin care and nail care products.

Theatre in the Distillery District

 The best lunch deal in Toronto!

Our downtown  Chef School is always cooking up something delicious. So much so, The Chef on the Run was born, a take-out retail outlet that sells a variety of delicious lunch, dinner and baked good items to satisfy your hunger AND wallet. Where else can you by a professionally baked carrot cake for  under $10? The offerings vary on a daily basis. If you want find out about the menu items of the day, call (416) 415-5000 ext. 2515.

 Chef on the Run is open from noon - 3pm Monday to Friday at the Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts at 300 Adelaide St. E.

In our on-campus student-run fashion stores – City Uptown and City Downtown – you’ll find the latest clothing and accessories at discount prices.
