Areas of Specialty / Research / Scholarship:
My clinical expertise is in Critical
Care Nursing-med-surg ICU, transplant and patients with MOSF. As a Clinical
Nurse specialist in the ICU, I enjoyed
sharing
my knowledge and experience with new and seasoned nurses. My academic focus
is in clinical ethics and transcultural nursing. I have volunteered as a nurse
overseas
and enjoyed the experience tremendously.

Areas of Specialty / Research / Scholarship:
My area of specialty is Community Health Nursing. My Nursing Research explored
the Lived Experience of Nurses working in Canada's Northern Isolated Communities.
Collaborated with Pediatric Clinicians on Clinical Trials Research related to
Acute Childhood Asthma. Published Incorporating Political Action Framework into
BSN Program in J NURS Educ. 2000 Jan. My current area of interest is in motivating
Nurses toward Advocacy and Leadership in the context of Global Health.
