for more than 30 years. Our ageing population ensures many job opportunities
in nursing homes, retirement homes, seniors centres.
Health Technology
State-of-the-art facilities, expert faculty, and extensive
lab and field experience all combine to prepare our graduates for highly
rewarding careers. Learn how to make braces, splints, and artificial
limbs in our unique Orthotics/Prosthetics programs, or train as a Hearing
Instrument Specialist (HIS) to help people with hearing impairments.
Graduates of both programs have a variety of exciting career options.
Some have pursued work in the manufacturing sector to work as in-house
technicians, while others have become successful entrepreneurs operating
their own hearing clinics throughout Ontario.

At George Brown's Interprofessional Learning
Clinic, the general public
is offered a number of health-care services. All services are offered
by student clinicians under the direct supervision of George Brown's
expert health sciences faculty, all of whom are registered professionals.
