Good health care encompasses every aspect of a person’s life, with the various professions working together to provide an overall sense of wellness. This is the basis for the new approach to health care emerging in Canada, where professionals from different disciplines work collaboratively to treat patients. The Centre for Health Sciences embraces this as a guiding educational principle. Our health sciences programs, faculty and facilities reflect the trends and changes taking place in the health care system. The outcome is that you are prepared to enter the field with the most current training and the ability to work with other health care professionals to deliver high quality patient care.
Imagine coming to school every day at one of the city’s most beautiful, modern spaces with labs and classrooms overlooking the Toronto harbour. Our third main campus, introducing an innovative health sciences college learning centre at a stunning new site on the Toronto waterfront will open in the Fall of 2012.
The Centre for Health Sciences offers health science college programs in four schools:
School of Dental Health
School of Health & Wellness
School of Health Services Management
School of Nursing
To give the best care, you need the best education. At the Centre for Health Sciences, our health sciences programs will prepare you to enter and excel in the field of health care.
