Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts Program Awards

To be considered for any of the awards listed below students must apply by selecting In-Course Scholarships through STU-VIEW and be enrolled full-time in a Hospitality and Culinary Arts Program. Accademia Italiana della Cucina, Toronto Delegation, Scholarship

Accademia Italiana Della Cucina has donated funds for the establishment of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina, Toronto Delegation, Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H411 program in any year of study. The student must submit a brief multi-media presentation of their choice about Italian food and culture.

ACE Bakery Award

Ace Bakery has donated funds for the establishment of the ACE Bakery Award. The award is available to students in the H113 program in their first year of study with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The student must demonstrate financial need along with promise, dedication and academic excellence. 

Anne Sado Scholarship

Anne Sado has donated funds for the establishment of the Anne Sado Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must have demonstrated leadership qualities through volunteer community service and a commitment to working with others.

Baking and Pastry Arts Scholarship

GBC CHCA has donated funds for the establishment of the Baking and Pastry Arts Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H113 program in any year of study. The student will be a full-time student(s) in the Baking and Pastry Arts Management Program.

Baking Association of Canada Ontario Chapter

Kate Nugent, Chair of Education for Ontario Chapter of Baking Association of Canada has donated funds for the establishment of the Baking Association of Canada Ontario Chapter. The award is available to students in the H113 program in any year of study. The student must have a strong work ethic and attitude and demonstrate that they are team and goal oriented.

Barry Callebaut Award

Barry Callebaut Canada Inc. has donated funds for the establishment of the Barry Callebaut Award. The award is available to students in the H413 program in any year of study.

Barry Grant Culinary Award

Susan Minns has donated funds for the establishment of the Barry Grant Culinary Award. The award is available to students in the H411 program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate creativity and innovation in their work, artistry and precision in food preparation, spirit of generosity and interest in others, and passion for learning.

Big Picture Conferences Scholarship

Big Picture Conferences has donated funds for the establishment of the Big Picture Conferences Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H102, H103, H130, H131, H301 program in any year of study. This scholarship is awarded to a student with the highest GPA.
 

Bonnie Stern Fellowship Scholarship

Bonnie Stern - Premier's Award has donated funds for the establishment of the Bonnie Stern Fellowship Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H100 program in any year of study. The student must have Fellowship skills including leadership, desire to help others, support team building activities, show respect and care for others.

Borden Ladner Gervais Scholarship

Borden Ladner Gervais has donated funds for the establishment of the Borden Ladner Gervais Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must exhibit job related social skills which may include positive attitude, enthusiasm, and respect towards others. They must demonstrate that they have overcome obstacles to undertake their studies.

Brian Cooper Memorial Award

Friends and Family of Brian Cooper has donated funds for the establishment of the Brian Cooper Memorial Award. The award is available to students in the H402 program in any year of study. The student must be a top overall student.

Canada Cutlery Award

Canada Cutlery has donated funds for the establishment of the Canada Cutlery Award. The award is available to students in the H100 program in any year of study. The student will have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
 

Canadian Gift Association Award of Excellence

Canadian Gift and Tableware Association have donated funds for the establishment of the Canadian Gift Association Award of Excellence. The award is available to students in the H100 program in their first year of study. The student must demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism at CHCA.

Canadian Pastry Chef Guild Award

Canadian Pastry Chefs Guild has donated funds for the establishment of the Canadian Pastry Chef Guild Award. The award is available to students in the Apprenticeship - Baking program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate superior practical skills.

CHCA BAB Student Leadership Scholarship for Special Events

CHCA Special Events - BAB has donated funds for the establishment of the CHCA BAB Student Leadership Scholarship for Special Events. The award is available to students in the H301 program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate leadership through volunteerism. They must be self-motivated, passionate about learning and have higher-than-average abilities in special event planning.

CHCA Special Events Student Leadership Excellence Award

CHCA Special Events - H121, H111 has donated funds for the establishment of the CHCA Special Events Student Leadership Excellence Award. The award is available to students in the H111, H121 program in their first year of study. The student must be self-motivated and passionate about learning. They must have made a commitment to their field of study and deonstrate job-related social skills including positive attitude, enthusiasm, and respect.

Chef Roger Romberg, CCC Culinary Excellence Scholarship

The Chef Roger Romberg, CCC Culinary Excellence Scholarship is available to students in the in a Culinary Program in any year of study. The student must exhibit a commitment and spirit of dedication to their peers. They will have demonstrated a commitment to the craft of cooking, and their core values will reflect that they are dedicated to local food sustainability.

Chiaravalloti Scholarship

Paul Chiaravalloti has donated funds for the establishment of the Chiaravalloti Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must have demonstrated an interest in their area of study and that they strive to do their best.

Chris Lippert Memorial Award

Mary Lippert has donated funds for the establishment of the Chris Lippert Memorial Award. The award is available to students in the Apprenticeship - Baking program in any year of study. The student must be the top graduating student in their program.

Cindy Diamond Award

Cindy Diamond, Plan-It Promotions has donated funds for the establishment of the Cindy Diamond Award. The award is available to students in all Hospitality Programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate academic excellence and be judged to be the most likely to succeed in the Hospitality Industry.

Colio Wines Scholarship

Colio Estates Wines has donated funds for the establishment of the Colio Wines Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H102 program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate interest and effort in area of study.

Compass Group Canada Award

Compass Group Canada has donated funds for the establishment of the Compass Group Canada Award. The award is available to students in the H100, H116 program in any year of study. The student must have a high level of skill and appreciation of culinary management.

Consulate General of the Italian Republic Scholarship

Consulate General of the Italian Republic has donated funds for the establishment of the Consulate General of the Italian Republic Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts program in any year of study. The student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.

Cory Clack-Streef Memorial Scholarship

Friends & Family of Cory Clack-Streef has donated funds for the establishment of the Cory Clack-Streef Memorial Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H100 program in their Second year of study. The student must exhibit job related social skills such as positive attitude, enthusiasm, respect, care and concern for fellow students and industry partners.

Daily Seafood Scholarship

Daily Seafood Inc. has donated funds for the establishment of the Daily Seafood Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H116 program in their Second year of study. The student must be self-motivated, passionate about learning and possess higher than average abilities.

Delta Hotel and Resorts Scholarship

Delta Hotels and Resorts have donated funds for the establishment of the Delta Hotel and Resorts Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H301 program in their Third year of study. The student must be considered to be a positive role model.

Dine.TO Hospitality and Culinary Arts Scholarship

Dine. TO has donated funds for the establishment of the Dine.TO Hospitality and Culinary Arts Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in their second year of study. The student must possess job related social skills including positive attitude, enthusiasm, and respect. They must be self-motivated and a passionate learner.

Distillery Restaurants Scholarship

Distillery Restaurants Corp (Café Cluny, EL Catrin, Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill) have donated funds for the establishment of the Distillery Restaurants Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate financial need and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.

Donna Dooher Scholarship

Donna Dooher has donated funds for the establishment of the Donna Dooher Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must have a commitment to their field of study and demonstrated that they have overcome obstacles.

Donna Lee-Rosen Panama Externship Award

Donna Lee-Rosen has donated funds for the establishment of the Donna Lee-Rosen Panama Externship Award. The award is available to registered full time students in the Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure program (H110) ,demonstrates financial need, has a GPA of 3.0 or greater and complete their externship requirement at a Berne Hotel and Resort in Panama

Esther Farlinger Award for Event Planning Scholarship

Dr. Esther Farlinger has donated funds for the establishment of the Esther Farlinger Award for Event Planning Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H111, H121 program in any year of study. The student must be self-motivated and passionate about learning. They must be open to learning from others and possess a deep commitment to working with others.

Esther and Sam Sarick Leadership in Culinary Management Award

Grapes for Humanity has donated funds for the establishment of the Esther and Sam Sarick Leadership in Culinary Management Award. The award is available to H100 students who demonstrate leadership in wine studies.

Frances Vera Aziz Award

Edward Aziz has donated funds for the establishment of the Frances Vera Aziz Award. The award is available to students in the H402 program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate a commitment to promoting and supporting healthy eating program/education across life-span.

GBC The Chefs' House Scholarship

The GBC The Chefs' House Scholarship is available to students in the Culinary Arts or Hospitality Program in their completed 14 week externship at the Chef's house year of study. The student must be self-motivated, passionate about learning and have demonstrated higher-than-average abilities within their program. They will have shown job-related social skills including positive attitude, enthusiasm and respect.

George Brown College Alumni Yes Chef! Scholarship

George Brown College Alumni Office has donated funds for the establishment of the George Brown College Alumni Yes Chef! Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Hospitality Programs in any year of study. The student must exemplify the values of the First Impressions Program: Pride in People, Program, Campus, and Profession.

George Brown College Bookstore - Chefs' Drawer Award

GBC Bookstore has donated funds for the establishment of the George Brown College Bookstore - Chefs' Drawer Award. The award is available to students in the H100 program in their first year of study. The student must exemplify the first impression standard of conduct.

George Brown College Marriage of Food & Wine Scholarship

Marriage of Food and Wine Event has donated funds for the establishment of the George Brown College Marriage of Food & Wine Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in their first year of study. The student must be self-motivated and passionate about learning. They must have a commitment to field of study, and have job-related social skills including positive attitude, enthusiasm, and respect.

Gerry Nakell Culinary Passion Award

Friends & Family of Gerry Nakell has donated funds for the establishment of the Gerry Nakell Culinary Passion Award. The award is available to students in the H100 program in their second year of study. The student must display creativity, innovation, originality and excellence.

Greater Toronto Hotel Association Cooper Memorial Award

The Greater Toronto Hotel Association has donated funds for the establishment of the Greater Toronto Hotel Association Cooper Memorial Award. The award is available to students in the H100 program in their Second year of study. The student must have demonstrated innovation in their approach towards creating new recipes leading to development of Canadian cuisine.

Greater Toronto Hotel Association Scholarship

Greater Toronto Hotel Association has donated funds for the establishment of the Greater Toronto Hotel Association Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H103 program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate intent to pursue a career in the hotel industry and job related social skills including leadership, positive attitude, respect, and care for others.

Helderleigh Foundation Food and Nutrition Award

Helderleigh Foundation has donated funds for the establishment of the Helderleigh Foundation Food and Nutrition Award. The award is available to students in the H119 and H402 program in their second semester or beyond. The student must demonstrate financial need, a minimum 3.0 GPA and must have participated in extra-curricular nutrition programming, which may include the Helderleigh Foundation sponsored initiatives and events.

HM Wing Cheung Cheng Scholarship

Ms. Siu Mee Cheng has donated funds for the establishment of the HM Wing Cheung Cheng Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate a commitment to working in the hospitality industry along with community involvement.

HSBC Award for Excellence in Hospitality Scholarship

HSBC Bank Canada has donated funds for the establishment of the HSBC Award for Excellence in Hospitality Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student must be a top culinary student who is making a significant contribution to the program.

IMI University Canada MBA Pathway Scholarship

IMI University Centre has donated funds for the establishment of the IMI University Canada MBA Pathway Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H301 program in their fourth year of study. The student will be articulating to MBA at IMI and will have demonstrated initiative, scholarly accomplishment, and a sense of business intuition.

Ivano Zambotti Premio per l’eccellenza nella cucina italiana Scholarship

The Ivano Zambotti Premio per l’eccellenza nella cucina italiana Scholarship is available to students in the Post Diploma- Culinary Arts, Italian Program or a recent graduate(s) of the Post Diploma- Culinary Arts, Italian Program. The student must have demonstrated leadership qualities through various means such as volunteering in college initiatives and events and a commitment to working with others.  They will have achieved academic excellence, and will have represented the Chef School or the Culinary Arts.

J. Charles Grieco Leadership Award of Excellence

The J. Charles Grieco Leadership Award of Excellence Award is available to students in the H301 program in their Third year of study. The student must be part of the REX's Recognition Program and have employment in the hospitality industry.
 

J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation Scholarship

J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation has donated funds for the establishment of the J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation Scholarship. The award is available to students in the any program in the centre for hospitality and culinary arts in any year of study. The student must demonstrate financial need along with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Jacques Marie Service Excellence in Food & Beverage Award

CHCA has donated funds for the establishment of the Jacques Marie Service Excellence in Food & Beverage Award. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must have demonstrated leadership, positive attitude towards guests and classmates, and a strong understanding of product knowledge at the Chef's House. They must be a mentor to other students and contribute towards a sense of community at Chef's House.

James Ernest Spry Culinary Excellence Award

CHCA has donated funds for the establishment of the James Ernest Spry Culinary Excellence Award. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate leadership and a contribution to the overall success at the Chef's House. They will have contributed towards building a sense of community at the Chef's House.

Jason Kuchinsky Memorial Scholarship

Bob Kuchsinsky on behalf of numerous donors has donated funds for the establishment of the Jason Kuchinsky Memorial Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H411 in any year of study. The student must demonstrate financial need, Ontario residency and display a commitment to creativity and entrepreneurships in their programming/placement.

Joe Abes Memorial Scholarship

Friends and family of Joe Abes has donated funds for the establishment of the Joe Abes Memorial Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Hospitality Programs in any year of study. The student must have a high academic standing.

Joey Restaurants Leadership in Culinary Arts Scholarship

Joey Restaurants has donated funds for the establishment of the Joey Restaurants Leadership in Culinary Arts Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate leadership qualities through Volunteer Community Service, and have a commitment to working with others.

John Hanna Advanced Wine & Beverage Business Management Post-Graduate Scholarship

John Hanna & Sons Ltd. has donated funds for the establishment of the John Hanna Advanced Wine & Beverage Business Management Post-Graduate Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H414 program in any year of study. The student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA along with a commitment and spirit of dedication to the study of wine and the wine and beverage business; job-related social skills which include: positive attitude, enthusiasm and respect. Demonstrates sense of fun, enjoyment towards study, cheerful outlook.

John Walker Scholarship

John Walker has donated funds for the establishment of the John Walker Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in their first year of study. The student must have demonstrated an interest and commitment in their area of study and demonstrated job related social skills including positive attitude, enthusiasm and respect.

Judith Marie Wyles Scholarship

David Wyles has donated funds for the establishment of the Judith Marie Wyles Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student must have a demonstrated interest and drive to excel in the culinary arts.

King Street Food Company Scholarship

King Street Food Company (Buca, Jamie’s Italian, Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse, The Saint Tavern) has donated funds for the establishment of the King Street Food Company Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate academic excellence.

Lola Csullog-Fernandez Scholarship

The Lola Csullog-Fernandez Scholarship is available to students in the in a Culinary Program in any year of study. The student must exhibit interest in the area of study and strives to do their best. They will demonstrates a commitment and spirit of dedication to their chosen area of professional study and will illustrate an openness to learning from others and a deep commitment.

Mandarin Scholarship

Mandarin Restaurants has donated funds for the establishment of the Mandarin Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H100, H112 program in any year of study. The student must have demonstrated a spirit of cooperation, strong teamwork skills, and commitment to pursue a career in the restaurant sector.

McEwan Enterprise Scholarship

Mark McEwan has donated funds for the establishment of the McEwan Enterprise Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student must have displayed a dedication to their field of study, an enthusiasm for the physical and practical aspects of the field, and leadership and team building.

Minaz & Julia Abji Scholarship

Minaz Abji has donated funds for the establishment of the Minaz & Julia Abji Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H103 program in any year of study. The student must possess a positive attitude and leadership skills.

Mirabelli Award for the Culinary School

Noble Estates Wines & Spirits Inc. has donated funds for the establishment of the Mirabelli Award for the Culinary School. The award is available to students in the any program in the centre for hospitality and culinary arts in any year of study. The student must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum 2.7 GPA or higher.

Nestle Professional MINOR'S Culinary Excellence Award

Nestle Professional has donated funds for the establishment of the Nestle Professional MINOR'S Culinary Excellence Award. The award is available to students in the H100, H116 program in their second year of study. The student will be considered a top student who has demonstrated leadership in school activities. They will be considered to have made an overall commitment to the program.

Oliver & Bonacini Inspired Quality Scholarship

Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants has donated funds for the establishment of the Oliver & Bonacini Inspired Quality Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student will be self-motivated and passionate about learning. They will demonstrate openness and cooperativity, pride in craftsmanship, organization, cleanliness, discipline, perseverance, and creativity. The student will be considered to be an ambassador of food culture and local/seasonal ingredients.

Ontario Food Protection Association Scholarship

Ontario Food Protection Association has donated funds for the establishment of the Ontario Food Protection Association Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H402 program in any year of study. The student must receive the highest mark in course related to food safety; best project related to food safety; and have most complete and accurate HACCP-based Food Safety plan.

Ontario Hostelry Institute - Gordon Cardy Scholarship

Ontario Hostelry Institute has donated funds for the establishment of the Ontario Hostelry Institute - Gordon Cardy Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H100, H103 program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence.

ORHMA Leadership in Hospitality Scholarship

Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association has donated funds for the establishment of the ORHMA Leadership in Hospitality Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in their Second year of study. The student must show promise in the Hospitality and Culinary industry.

PH Food Company Culinary Leadership Award

PH Food Co. Inc has donated funds for the establishment of the PH Food Company Culinary Leadership Award. The award is available to students in the H119, H116, H100, or H112 program in their first or second year of study. The student must demonstrated leadership qualities through community volunteerism and commitment to working with others.

Primary Response Scholarship

Primary Response Endowment has donated funds for the establishment of the Primary Response Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must be considered to be a positive role model and peer mentor.

Professor J. Gellatly & Family Award

Joanne Gellatly has donated funds for the establishment of the Professor J. Gellatly & Family Award. The award is available to students in the H301 program in their third, fourth year of study. The student must have demonstrated job related social skills including leadership, enthusiasm, and respect. They must be self-motivated, passionate about field of study.

Ray Domenico Leadership in Hospitality Scholarship

Silver Hotel Group has donated funds for the establishment of the Ray Domenico Leadership in Hospitality Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate professionalism, passion, compassion, role model, positive attitude, and enthusiasm towards their studies. They must demonstrate that they have overcome obstacles to undertake their studies.

Redpath Leadership in Baking and Pastry Award

Redpath has donated funds for the establishment of the Redpath Leadership in Baking and Pastry Award. The award is available to students in H108, H113 and H600 in any year of study. The student must demonstrate academic excellence, spirit of cooperation, strong teamwork skills and a desire to pursue a career in the baking and pastry industry.

Renée Unger Scholarship

Renee Unger has donated funds for the establishment of the Renée Unger Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student must have work experience in the Food industry, leadership skills, and a commitment to their field of study.

Russel Cottam Memorial Award

Friends of Russel Cottam have donated funds for the establishment of the Russel Cottam Memorial Award. The award is available to students in the Apprenticeship Programs in any year of study.The student must demonstrate innovation and professional promise in their field of study.

Roger Mooking Scholarship

Roger Mooking has donated funds for the establishment of the Roger Mooking Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H100, H116, and H119 program in their Graduating year of study. The student must demonstrate a strong work ethic and an attitude that is team and goal-oriented.
 

Sally McKendry Memorial Endowment Award

+Pay McKendry has donated funds for the establishment of the Sally McKendry Memorial Endowment Award. The award is available to students in all culinary programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate financial need, Ontario residency, a minimum 3.0 GPA.  This scholarship is designed for members of the Afro-Canadian and Caribbean community, preference will be given to sole-support parents.

S.P.E.R. (Shelagh Penelope Elaine Roberson) Achievement Award

Shelagh Roberson Pay McKendry has donated funds for the establishment of the S.P.E.R. (Shelagh Penelope Elaine Roberson) Achievement Award. The award is available to students in all culinary programs in their second year of study or beyond. The student must demonstrate financial need, Ontario residency, a minimum 3.0 GPA along with a commitment and passion for their field of interest.

Service Inspired Restaurants Scholarship

Service Inspired Restaurants has donated funds for the establishment of the Service Inspired Restaurants Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Hospitality Programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate financial need and Ontario residency.

Shasha Bread Award

Shasha has donated funds for the establishment of the Shasha Bread Award. The award is available to students in the H108, H113 program in any year of study. The student must have displayed skills and appreciation for bread baking.

Sheila Swerling Puritt Wine Leadership Award.

Sheila Swerling Puritt has donated funds for the establishment of the Sheila Swerling Puritt Wine Leadership Award. The award is available to students in any hospitality program in any year of study. The student must demonstrates interest in further wine studies

Smart Serve Scholarship

Smart Serve has donated funds for the establishment of the Smart Serve Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Hospitality Programs in their first or second year of study. The student must possess the Smart Serve Certification.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Leadership in Hospitality Scholarship

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has donated funds for the establishment of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Leadership in Hospitality Scholarship. The award is available to students in the Open program in any year of study. The student must exhibit job-related social skills including positive attitude, enthusiasm and respect.

Steam Kitchen Scholarship

Steam Kitchen has donated funds for the establishment of the Steam Kitchen Scholarship. The award is available to students in the Chef’s school in any year of study. The student must exhibit community involvement, financial need and a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Sotto una buona stella/Under a lucky star Scholarship

Consulate General of the Italian Republichas donated funds for the establishment of the Sotto una buona stella/Under a lucky star Scholarship. The award is available to students in the H411 program. The student must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA.

Sysco Canada Scholarship

Sysco has donated funds for the establishment of the Sysco Canada Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student must possess the following traits: leadership, dedication to their field of study, be a positive role model, creativity, passion and artistry.

TBM Service Group Scholarship

TBM Service Group Inc. has donated funds for the establishment of the TBM Service Group Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must demonstrate leadership qualities and commitment to working with others.

TrainCan Inc. has donated funds for the establishment of the TrainCan Food Safety Award. This award is awarded to a student in one for the following programs H100, H102, H103, H108, H112, H113, H116, H119, H130 or H131. This award is for a second year or graduating student with the highest mark in the basic food safety course.

TrainCan Inc. has donated funds for the establishment of the TrainCan Food Safety Award. This award is awarded to a student in the H402 program in any year of study. This award is for the student with highest mark in the advanced food safety Certification Course.

Tony Jelenic Scholarship

Mr. Anton Jelenic has donated funds for the establishment of the Tony Jelenic Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Hospitality Programs in any year of study. The student must self-identify as an Aboriginal student (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, or otherwise part of the indigenous peoples of Canada) and demonstrate financial need.

Tony Mili Culinary Award

Friends of Tony Mili have donated funds for the establishment of the Tony Mili Culinary Award. The award is available to students in the H100 program in their first year of study. The student must demonstrate creativity, entrepreneurial initiative, and commitment to excellence.

Travellers' Aid Society Centennial Bursary

Traveller's Aid Society has donated funds for the establishment of the Travellers' Aid Society Centennial Bursary. The award is available to students in all Hospitality Programs in any year of study. The student must have helpful, friendly and supportive qualities.

Unilever Scholarship

Unilever has donated funds for the establishment of the Unilever Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student must have demonstrated a dedication to their field of study and have overcome obstacles to undertake their studies.

Wiley Leadership in Nutrition Award

Wiley Canada has donated funds for the establishment of the Wiley Leadership in Nutrition Award. The award is available to students in all Culinary Programs in any year of study. The student will have the highest overall mark. One award will be presented in each of the fall and winter semesters.

William & Nona Heaslip Foundation Scholarship

William & Nona Heaslip has donated funds for the establishment of the William & Nona Heaslip Foundation Scholarship. The award is available to students in all Hospitality Programs in any year of study. The student will strive for self-improvement and demonstrate creativity, leadership and organizational skills.

Wusthof Scholarship

Wusthof-Trident of Canada has donated funds for the establishment of the Wusthof Scholarship. The award is available to students in any culinary program in any year of study. The student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and is self-motivated, passionate about learning and demonstrate higher than average abilities in their chosen area of professional study.

Yes Chef! Scholarship

Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts has donated funds for the establishment of the Yes Chef! Scholarship. The award is available to students in all CHCA Programs in any year of study. The student must have leadership qualities, have demonstrated a commitment to working with others, and have job-related social skills including positive attitude, enthusiasm and respect.

Zwilling J.A. Henckels Award

Zwilling J.A. Henckels Canada has donated funds for the establishment of the Zwilling J.A. Henckels Award. The award is available to students in any culinary program in any year of study. The student must demonstrate academic and exhibit a commitment and spirit of dedication to their chosen area of professional study.
