Biography

Hydeh Mottaghi’s areas of specialization are operations management and project management. She has been extensively involved in developing and implementing new and innovative approaches to operations management, lean management and agile management in the electronics Industry. She creates an enjoyable learning environment by focusing on helping her students fully comprehend materials and their applications instead of memorizing them. She brings years of practical experience to the classroom and enjoys describing to her students the solutions she has developed to the many industry challenges she has faced.

With broad experience in teaching undergraduate courses such as project management, MS Project, lean management, operations management, statistics for business and management, quantitative business analysis, factory management, agile manufacturing and graduate courses such as advanced production, operations management and seminars for industrial management, Dr. Mottaghi inspires excellence in her students through the introduction of many case studies and projects. She has published four successful books in the operations management field and is associated with publishing companies for whom she has reviewed and revised operations management, statistics and business mathematics books.
