Talk Back China Project

Over the past 2 years, 16 George Brown ECE  graduate students have been involved in a Study Abroad opportunity in the city of Suzhou, China.

In May, the School of Early Childhood at George Brown College escorts 8 students and arranges for them to teach for 4 weeks at an International Preschool in the city of Suzhou. This school has had an ongoing relationship with George Brown since 2005. In addition, students have also visited the College of Early Childhood Education in Suzhou , toured various child care settings as well as surrounding places of interest .

Graduates may then apply for a teaching position in the preschool and return to teach for the entire school year, commencing the following September.

The following are reports from current graduates of George Brown college School of Early Childhood,  presently working at the Kinderland  International Preschool in Suzhou, China.

We  currently have plans to continue this relationship with our partners in China and will be returning in May 2008 to visit and provide an opportunity for  8 graduates to experience teaching abroad.
