The Digital Imagination of Peter Wirun, by Felix Russo ( this PDF file* opens a new window), Winter 2004 edition of PhotoEd Magazine

The 2004 Annual is the first of its kind to be created by the Faculty of Business and Creative Arts. It represents a vast collection of the achievements by its students and faculty.

Canadian Digital Creativity: the Ontario Innovates Project

Canadian Digital Creativity: the Ontario Innovates Project is a growing archival tool for use in the education of younger generations of artists and designers and is an essential resource for the representation and promotion of Canadian digital design.

This cataloguing of our national talent provides the next generation of Canadian new media artists and designers with the material reference they require to understand the diversity of Canada's contribution to the world stage of digital innovation. It serves as a documented history of our talent and work as Canadians, as a point of reference for Canada's importance on the world stage as internationally recognized innovators in the field of digital design. The Canada Innovates project was realized in three forms: as a full-colour printed book, a website which continues to increase in scope, and as a multimedia presentation. This range of manifestations of the project allows a wide variety of access to the material, from government, companies and individual artists to students.

It is the mandate of the School of Design at George Brown College to develop a body of knowledge around digital creativity. This work is the first of a series of publications by the School of Design which will document the innovation of Canadian design for future generations.
