Equal access to education for every student
At George Brown College, we are committed to providing equal access to education for every student. A variety of services are available to you whenever you need them. We have dedicated programs, initiatives, departments, staff and services to make sure every student can learn, grow and thrive at the college.
• Deaf and Hard of Hearing – free services include interpreting, intervening, computerized note taking and peer note taking/tutoring for full time and continuing education students.
• Disability Services – register for services including adaptive technology, financial assistance, peer note taking, reduced course load and tutors.
• Test Accommodations – special accommodations for test and exams including quieter test sites, enlarged print, extra time and test readers/scribes.
• Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) – information and links for employees, students and the community on standards, training and customer service policies.
