Ali Haj-Shafiei
For Professor Ali Haj-Shafiei, the love affair with the Construction Management and Project management for high-rise condominium, residential housings and industrial buildings began in 1981. His thesis work revolutionized the high-rise building sector, and his theories of lateral load resistance are now integral in high-rise design philosophy.
He has been realizing remarkable Project Management/Construction Management concepts ever since, and brings new imagination and inspiration to each new project that he undertakes.
Professor Ali Haj-Shafiei taught as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant both at University of Wisconsin and Marquette University respectively. Moreover, he has been the lecturer at University of Technology-Tehran Polytechnic for 6 years. During this time, he founded the Engineering Consultant Firm which was responsible for Project Managements / Construction Management for different range of Projects from Housing to Industrial Buildings.
Professor Ali Haj-Shafiei devoted his career since 1988 to the Design and Construction of High Rise residential/commercial buildings, developments of subdivisions, and industrial building internationally. He has been involved as a Project Manager for Development, Construction and marketing 300 houses in GTA, Canada.
Ali is currently the Program Coordinator for three Center for Construction and Engineering Technologies programs - Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technician, & Construction Management for Internationally Educated Professionals.
Mark Krantzberg MEng (Toronto), BEng (McGill)
Working for various consultants, Mark has been involved in the design, construction, and analysis of buildings over the past 30 years. As an engineer, Mark has succeeded in completing projects on time and under budget by integrating various design and construction strategies. Mark has over 19 years of experience teaching technology related courses at the college level, including mathematics, strength of materials, structural steel and concrete construction. He has also conducted corporate training sessions in various 3D Design applications.
