| “Campabilites”, an amazing week-long sports camp for young people who are blind, visually impaired and deafblind. GBC student Shawn Voisin volunteered for a week and experienced a variety of sports and activities. Campabilites was started by Dr. Lauren Lieberman, who presented at a recent symposium on deafblindness in Toronto and impressed everyone with her dedication to adapted physical education. There are a number of camps throughout the U.S. and hopefully in this area before long. Please see their website www.campabilities.org |
