COMPETITIONS

"Ready Set Cook & Win" - Culinary Competition [Register now...]

Canada Bread Foodservice Ready, Set, Cook and Win Baking Competition

Open to senior High School students, this popular event is back for its fifth year! Competing students will have approximately six weeks to research, test, and prepare specific items for Culinary or Baking. The competitors will serve their creations in the George Brown Kitchen for the media and industry panel to judge.

The Ontario WHIZ Kid Cooking Competition
We know there are a lot of WHIZ Kids Cooks out there - Is one of your students one of them? This new competition is open to senior High School students, it will showcase students cooking talent on an individual basis. Based upon prior selection through an essay format contest, twelve students will be judged by a panel of chefs. [Register now...]

Winners Ceremony And Evening Reception
Celebrating Student Success is a key value at George Brown College. This will be a night to remember! For all student participants, parents, guidance counselors/teachers, school principals, press/media, college/government representatives and industry to celebrate the success of all students who participated and the those who will have won in their competitions. A celebration of the future of the next generation of hospitality and tourism professionals.
