"Intense aromas of mango puree, apricot and juicy ripe peach combined with touches of wild honey, lemon and orange rind hiding in the back." This is how Academic Coordinator and Sommelier Adrian Caravello describes the taste of the 2008 Niagara Riesling ice-wine.

Adrian and fellow staff led the ice-wine venture with Stratus so that students (in -22º C weather) could be part of an experience they will remember for a lifetime.

As part of its commitment to providing students with the technology and equipment necessary to meet the evolving needs of the skilled trades industry, The Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (CHCA) at George Brown College will be opening their new Baking and Pastry Arts facilities this week. Thanks to the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Apprenticeship Enhancement Fund (AEF), the CHCA received a significant boost to their apprenticeship training through more than $ 1.6M over 3-years.
