About the First Impressions Committee
The First Impression Steering Committee consists of a cross-section of faculty, staff and students from the Centre for Hospitality and Culinary
Arts and those departments that directly support us.
Our mandate is simple. To take our 4 P’s…Pride in People, Pride in Profession, Pride in Programs and Pride in Campus…and
fully integrate their principles into everything we do.
To do this, our committee identified short and long-term First Impression Priority Projects and Teams. Each of these projects was carefully
selected to move us closer to our overall goal..to produce graduates which are the first choice of industry’s leading employers.
The First Impression Steering Committee meets once a month (second Friday on the month) to review the progress of each team and track the overall
results of their important initiatives.
