George Brown College students who recently competed in the Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) national
entrepreneurship competition, the country's largest and most prestigious student entrepreneurship contest run by the Advancing
Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE) student organization, were named the Most Improved Team for 2008. Armin
Zohrabi, the president of George Brown’s student ACE team, also brought home the Student Leader of the

2008 SIFE Competition
Toronto, ON (May 12, 2008) - In George Brown College’s second year of participation
in the Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE) regional entrepreneurship competitions, a team of students
from the Centre for Business was the first runner-up in both the HSBC SIFE Financial Education challenge and the TD SIFE Entrepreneurship challenge. [Read

Centre for Business students compete to determine who would represent George Brown College at the provincial qualifying round for the Ontario Heads of Business Case Competition.
The students’ task was to develop and present an Integrated Marketing Communications Plan, highlighting recommendations on how to increase student enrollment in business programs at Ontario’s colleges.
