The Centre for Advanced Building Technologies (CABT) is a complete facility that fully simulates all careers and professions found in the construction and architectural work place. It is fully a micro industry training and education facility for the construction and architectural sector. Whether you aspire to becoming a licensed Journeyperson, work in an architect's office, manage a construction site or renovate/restore existing buildings, it's all here.

Whether you're interested in working in the residential housing development sector, the ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) sector or influencing the course of laws and policies that regulate these sectors, the CABT responds to your aspirations.

And if you're thinking of joining the CABT from another school or your high school has articulation agreement with the CABT, then you might be eligible for advanced standing opportunities, course credits or exemptions. We can even offer Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) based on your portfolio or other data.
