Yves Hébert
Yves Hébert was appointed as George Brown College’s first Chief Information Officer (CIO) in August 2001. In his role as CIO, Hébert directs and manages the college’s Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Corporate Project Management Office (CPMO).
Hébert has more than 35 years experience in IT infrastructure, process redesign, systems development, information strategy and planning.
Before joining GBC, Hébert occupied IT/MIS leadership roles for a number of North American organizations, including Gillette, Unilever and Kohler. Hébert is a native of Montreal, Quebec and is a graduate of the HEC Montréal Business School.
