Program Comparison Help

Decision-making made easy! This tool gives you a breakdown of individual programs offered at George Brown College and how they differ from other programs you’re interested in. Use this tool to select up to 10 programs to compare, helping you make the right choice for the career you want.

1. Under Program Comparison, click Add a New Program

2. Search for one of the programs you’re interested in (either alphabetically, by interest or by job)

3. Click on the title of the program in the menu

4. Click Add to Comparison

5. Continue searching for programs using steps 2-4

6. When you’re done, clicking Program Comparison will give you a preview of the programs and the option to delete, add or clear all

7. Open Program Compare for more details and an easy-to-read comparison of the programs you’ve selected

George Brown Alumni Relations launched MentorCity, an online mentoring program that supports and encourages people to manage their own learning in order to maximize their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and develop a strategy to realize their goals.

The alumni mentoring program offers flexibility between the mentor and the mentee while providing structured guidelines to ensure that all participants of the program gain value from the relationship.

Program Benefits - Mentor

A mentor, through the George Brown College Alumni Relations MentorCity site, will be given the opportunity to:

  1. Expand their existing professional network;
  2. Gain personal satisfaction from giving back to their community;
  3. Enhance and build upon their coaching and leadership skills;
  4. Engage with other alumni and the college community at George Brown College.

Program Benefits - Mentee

A mentee, through the George Brown College Alumni Relations MentorCity site, will be given the opportunity to:

  1. Begin to establish a professional network;
  2. Receive professional guidance, support and encouragement from a Mentor established in their field.
  3. Expand personal growth in their soft skills including, communication, leadership, identity and effectiveness as a professional;
  4. Gain perspective from others’ experience and knowledge.
