Jorge Olenewa
Jorge has spent over 35 years in the computer industry. Beginning with Burroughs (now Unisys) in 1970, where he was responsible for
data communications support and training for all of Latin America, he also worked for more than 10 years in hardware and software sales, managed
network systems and support organizations and currently runs his own consulting business. Jorge holds a BSc in Electronic Information Systems
from B.L.A.I. in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and his certifications include CCNA and CWLSS. He is also a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor for
Wireless. With a passion for teaching along with his industry experience he is able to bring a unique "real-life" industry and customer
needs perspective to George Brown students. After teaching for two years at Ryerson, Jorge joined GBC in September 2000 and has been directly
involved in curriculum development and teaching in the Wireless technology programs since the beginning. Finally, Jorge is the author of the
2nd Edition of "Wireless# Guide to Wireless Communications," published by Course Technology, which is used as the textbook for the
T141 and T147 3rd semester COMP2102, Wireless Technology Fundamentals course.
Khalid
Danok
Khalid has a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics and RF propagation from St. Petersburg Technical University, 1992.
He has more than 12 years of experience in teaching different telecommunications and networking courses for university and college students
including Humber and George Brown.
Khalid's Industrial experience includes consultation and working with telecommunication and electronic manufacturing companies.
His networking certifications include, CCNA, CCAI, Cisco Wireless and Security.

Jacky Min
Jacky has 14 years of experience in computer networking and for the past five years he has been actively involved in enterprise network
consulting and training. He has worked for Founder, IBM and DEC companies.
Jackie is now teaching at George Brown College where he provides instructional and technical assistance during the initial development of
T411 and T147 programs.
Jackys network certifications include DATM, CCNA, CSS, CQS, CCIE (written), and he is on his way to CCIE lab. He holds a BSc in Information
System Technology.
Jim Mitkoviski
Jim is a Graduate of McMaster University (1996), Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical
Jim was a Network Engineer (Voice, Data and Optical) at Nortel Networks for three years
and he spent five years as Project Manager for Optical and Wireless network deployment at Nortel.
Jim is currently a Project Management and Engineering Consultant in addition to teaching at George Brown and Mohawk Colleges.
Sheref ElSabawy
Sheref holds an engineering degree (B.Eng.) and Post-Graduate diploma in Information Technology.
He has been working in Systems and Networks solutions design and deployments in international Petroleum Industry projects since 1987.
Sheref has an extensive experience in networks engineering and telecommunications. He has worked as Senior Network Engineer for multiple
major banks and financial institutions in Toronto.
He joined Cisco Systems as a Systems Engineer for Service Providers where
he was involved in multiple infrastructure Internet projects and was a member of Cisco’s VoIP Virtual team.
Sheref joined Motorola Inc as Systems Engineer and was the Technical
VoIP lead for Canada for several years and is involved in major Wireless, Mobility and VoIP projects in healthcare and retail verticals.
He is also active in Open Source Telephony Systems, and Asterisk solutions design and testing.
Sheref has been directly involved in curriculum development and teaching of VoIP courses in the Wireless technology program at GBC. His
network certifications include CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CCVP, NNCSS and CNSS.
