The final proposed accessible employment standard has been submitted for consideration as law.  You can access a copy of this standard at the Ministry of Social and Community Services website.

A certificate course for Web content developers and authors that offers knowledge on how to create Web sites that comply with accessibility standards.  This course was developed at the Adaptive Technology Resource Center at the University of Toronto in collaboration with the Accessibility Directorate, Cantor Access Inc., and Vubiz Inc.  For more information visit ATutor's Understanding Web Accessibility.

ATRC also developed a program to prepare information and communication professionals in meeting the information and communication standard of the AODA.  For more information visit the University of Toronto's Adaptive Technology Resource Centre.

A Way with Words is a list of preferred words and phrases that will assist you in choosing and using language that is respectful of people with disabilities.
